Swimming Camp

12-15 June 2015

East Coast of Ireland Open Water would like to welcome you to its first Open water Swimming Camp. It promises to be an exciting weekend offering you 5 Swims in 5 Locations.

This camp is open to  beginner (must be able to swim 500m non stop)  and Intermediate(1000m non stop) swimmers wetsuit or skins your choice.

This coarse is provided by

Qualified STA open water coaches http://www.sta.co.uk/

Trained RLSS water safety management http://www.rlss.org.uk/professional-qualifications/nwsmp/

Trained ISA Power & Rescue Boats http://www.sailing.ie/StartBoating/Powerboat.aspx

Trained Lifeguards & kayaks

Beginner Level should be able to swim 500m non stop  Intermediate Level should be able to swim 1000m non stop    Please note if advised or insisted by head coach after 1st swim in seapoint to drop a level please support decision in your interest’s and group.

  • Arrive on time
  • Bring appropriate  swimming gear and spares accessories
  • Bring warm clothes for after swim as there will a debrief after each swim
  • Hot Drinks and Biscuits will be provided after each swim
